Not Much Happening Today

It was a bit cooler today - only 90.  I remembered to close all the windows and vent fans before turning on the AC after lunch. You would be proud of me!  The wind was a bit breezy today - enough to take down the awning.  Tomorrow and Thursday it is supposed to be very windy so Roger postponed the new tire installation until Friday so we don't have to take the RV out in the wind.

Rog and our neighbor, Joe, worked on our water spigot this afternoon.  We've had a drip and the park maintenance folks said "everyone's does.  It has to do with the back flow preventer."  Well, after putting a bucket under the spigot for three days and collecting over 3 gallons of water, Roger decided he had to fix it.  Living in the desert we are water conscience and can't believe these folks don't care. The palo verde tree on our lot got a nice drink today!  Anyway, Rog picked up parts at the hardware store yesterday and he and Joe fixed it this afternoon.  The new back flow preventer worked with no drips and we should be all set now.

Maggs and I got our long morning walk and this evening I invited the Lona (the lady who is taking the stained glass class with me) to walk with us. I am hoping to get her out and moving about.  She sits in her RV all day quilting or crocheting. We had a nice visit and and short walk.

We are on about plan C for our yard now.  Tomorrow a guy who builds sheds will be coming out to tell us what he can do and what we need to do to prep for one.

That's it for today.  All's well.
