Maggie is in the Dog House This Morning

We've been very good law abiding citizens since we got busted for letting Maggs off leash at our site.  This morning while I was showering, Roger and Maggie were outside. Maggie was on the tie-out as she doesn't get a very good view of the squirrels from where we have her pen set up.  A squirrel scampered across the site and up the tree at the rear of our site and she went after it!  We now need a new tie-out as she snapped the buckle in two. She must have really had the hots to get that squirrel. It's a good thing we already had plans to go to Petsmart for food and a new "orange ball" today.

An inlet off the bay.
We took our walk this morning in the opposite direction from the RV park that we have taken the last two days.  This route takes us past the pilot training  air field on one side and Pensacola Bay on the other side.  The trail is in the open more so than the other direction and since the sun was shining, it was in the mid 60s and there was no wind we headed that way. What a beautiful route!   We saw an osprey on her nest, planes being flown by new pilots in training, and the beautiful white sand beaches of Pensacola Bay. It's nice here this time of year when there are no severe storms and tornado watches!!!

Looking towards the RV park and the Lighthouse

Trainer coming in for a landing.

We have plans for dinner tonight with Andy and family at a Mexican restaurant we like that is near their house.  We will stop at Petsmart on the way as it is on that side of town.  Other than that, no plans but to hang out here and enjoy.
