A Scary Way to Start the Day

We woke this morning to thunder, lightning, and a tornado watch. We aren't used to this kind of weather and it had us a bit nervous. Of course Maggie didn't help by crawling in her bed and hiding her head.  Aren't dogs supposed to sense impending disaster? Fortunately she over reacted but we were ready with our meds and computers sitting next to the door just in case. ( We wanted to be home!!!)  By noon, though,  the rain had stopped and we even had a few rays of sunshine peeking around the clouds this afternoon.  Rain is predicted for tomorrow but not any severe weather, thank goodness.

Our plans to get back to an exercise routine were foiled by the storm this morning.  Maybe tomorrow.  We've both gained a couple of pounds over the last couple of weeks so we need to get back on the diet and exercise wagon soon.

We "made groceries" and did some shopping at the BX this afternoon. Once we got home it was nice enough for Rog and Maggie to spend some time outside while I caught up on financial (aka paying bills) and other computer work.  My computer is acting weird and it's making me nervous. Maybe tomorrow I'll run some diagnostics and try to figure out why.

Yesterday Maggie was on our concrete patio behaving but not tied up.  The rules say she has to be in her pen or be tethered. We know that, but have been lax because she is so good about not wandering off so we leave her pen door open and she wanders in and out depending on her mood. Well, Rog and Maggs were sitting outside chillin' when the camp host busted them.  We got a stern warning and reminder of park rules!!  Oops.

Nothing special on the agenda for tomorrow.
