All our plans for the weekend of camping and having fun got squashed when Pam, and then Kinsey got sick. Some viral thing going around. The planned camp over got cancelled and Rog and I had a day all alone today - but that was ok as we didn't want any germs. No S'mores for us tonight :-/
We had to go out to the store this morning for a couple of things and we told Maggie we were "going to the store." She climbed in her bed on the couch. I went out the door, Rog followed but didn't close it tightly. I opened the truck door to get in and before I could climb up, Maggie was in the truck and sitting on the console. I felt so sorry for her as I carried her back to the RV and closed the door tightly. She looked so pathetic. No damage noted, though.
Hot, humid, and thunderstorms in the area this morning. This afternoon it cleared up but was still muggy. Had to run the A/C. It had been so nice the last few days without it. I was kinda hoping the nice weather would last a few more days for us.
We hope to see the kids tomorrow for a little while as it will be the last visit before we leave. Our friends, Mickey and Lynda, are arriving in the afternoon and staying for two nights in one of the cottages here. They leave on Tuesday morning, we will prep to leave that day and then leave on Wednesday morning.
It's been quite a jam packed 20 days!
