No photos tonight. We were too busy and there was nothing noteworthy to take a picture of.
Well, I wrote too soon - yesterday all was well. Today plumbing issues but only with the kitchen sink. No water there, but the bathroom was ok. After an hour or so of checking for leaks and dumping the water heater and refilling it thinking it might have been an airlock, Rog finally narrowed the issue down to the faucet in the kitchen. It was plugged up with some sediment, but even after we cleaned it out we only get a dribble. It'll be really slow washing dishes. Oh, well, we can live with it until we get to an RV store and get a replacement.
We made two trips back and forth from the house to the RV after we walked Maggie and went to the grocery. We thought that was pretty good. We moved in around 2:30pm. Fortunately it was cloudy today and in the low 80s, so schlepping all those bags of groceries and "stuff" wasn't too bad. We've learned to put things in our reusable grocery bags instead of the big tubs we used to use. More trips, but the weight is a lot easier to manage. It is worth noting that packing the RV for a month long trip is not a whole lot different than packing for winter - only lighter clothes!
We thought we did good today - but then realized we forgot Maggie's pen and my earphones. So, after dinner, we made a last trip over to the house. Our neighbor's car was already parked in the driveway as we requested and the timers were working on the lights as they were supposed to.
I think we are ready to go! We are looking forward to traveling and not working. Tomorrow's journey will be on I-80 across Nevada going east to Elko where we will stop for the night.
