It's done! Now I'm in search of towels to match the dark color. I have LOTS of the "vanilla" color left - almost two full skeins. I'm going to have to find another project.
Now that the rug is done, I think I'm going to spend some quality time trying to figure out the new geneology programs and software. I keep getting emails about "matches" to others' trees, but I've not yet sat down and focused on it. We've got a about three days of rain coming the end of the week - should be a good time to do it.
Stephanie called last night - she and Pierce will be coming for the day next Sunday!!! Yay!! We saw them last Christmas Eve. They are very busy kids.
Coyotes were howling about 3am this morning. It sounded like the whole pack was in our yard. Maggie and I sat straight up when they started (Rog slept through it) it was so loud. She sat on the edge of the bed at the foot at full alert watching the door for about 10 minutes. They wandered off or just stopped yipping and she was able to relax and go back to bed - as was I.
Sunshine, breezy and about 60 degrees today. Maggie and I had a nice walk this morning and Roger had a bike ride.
Tomorrow we get to go talk to the people at the local post office regarding our forwarding order. Hopefully, I won't have a tale of woe tomorrow night when I post.
Want to read a good book? The Dry by Jane Harper. I'm almost finished listening to it. Very good Australian who done it.
