This is day two of rain. We had a few hour break late yesterday, but right now it's been raining for over 24 hours. Things are getting a bit soggy.

I couldn't get close to the poo bag station because of the river of water in front of it. |
We kept fairly busy today considering the only times we got outside were to take Maggie out to do her business. She knew what she was out there for, performed, and headed straight back to the RV! No messing about sniffing for coyotes, but no walks either. She spent her day napping and trying to talk Roger into playing ball. See how excited he is about it.
We both worked on the puzzle. I put on a pot of soup for dinner (oh, it is good!), and baked a small cake (it's OK). We stayed away from the TV and the news apps all day (our little protest). I played WORD and did a little reading between outings with Maggie. It turned out to be an OK day despite the constant rain. Tonight will be an episode of Homeland on DVD and DCI Banks recorded from PBS last night. Not sure what we will do tomorrow - more of the same, I suppose.
Maggie wanted to help with the blog tonight. She's telling me what stories to tell and begging me not to put in another photo of her in her raincoat!
More rain tomorrow through Tuesday. Oh, joy! We thought last year was supposed to be the El Nińo winter so we stayed away. It waited for us to return this year. We are so lucky.

We on the other hand rejoiced in the day and look forward to the draining of the swamp
