It's been a rough week. The cold has really hammered me and I was down for the count for a couple of days. Fever, etc. I couldn't even play "WORDS" because I couldn't spell anything, let alone put two sentences together to write a blog entry. The fever had me pretty out of it and I slept for a day and a half. Today I'm slowly climbing out of the hole. Not often I am sick, but when I am I don't mess about.
Roger's feeling better, physically, but being in the RV for four days in the rain with me sick and Maggie needing attention has been tough on him. He's been making meals, cleaning up, running errands, and walking the dog. Today he did laundry. Poor guy just can't get a break. If he doesn't see the sun soon he might go stark raving mad!
When Roger goes to the store with a list - that's what he buys. Not one thing more. How does he do that?
We've been watching movies and recorded PBS shows in the afternoons. So unlike us, but we have been desperate for entertainment.
Tomorrow the rain is supposed to be non-existent and by Monday we are supposed to see the sun. We'll believe it when we see it.
Still no yarn delivery. Wonder where it is? The last tracking notice said it was diverted or something like that. I'm hoping it means the post office has forwarded it here.
That's the news from Santee.
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, that's for sure.
ReplyDelete1)Andrew doesn't get sick often but when he does he goes all out like you!
2) If I send him to the store with a list that is EXACTLY what he gets. No divergence. He doesn't understand me if I go with a list & come back with 8 more items I thought of off hand that we needed!
You two made & raised a great son! I shall thank you forever for that. He's true my the best! Just ask Kinsey!
Hope you both feel better & better with each passing day.
Love Pam & family
