A Day of Errands

After our morning ritual of tea, news apps, breakfast, a Maggie walk, and then lunch, Roger and I spent a couple of hours running errands. We had to get out and get things done before the storms start tonight.  (It just started raining in the last ten minutes.)

We are now ready for the five days of anticipated storms as we have two new puzzles, fruit, veggies, eggs, chocolate and toilet paper.  We are all set!

Last week's rain has left the ground quite saturated.  No telling what things are going to look like by Tuesday when the four storms that are lined up in the Pacific are finished with us.  I found this mushroom this morning on my walk. It's about 2 inches tall. I'm guessing that by next week it'll be waist high!
