Another Mystery

When I opened my iPad to log in to the RV park wifi tonight it automatically did it without any prompts.  It's never been here before so how did it know?  The computers and my phone recognized the wifi signal but we still had to enter the password.  Not so with the iPad.  It logged itself in.  Feeling as if I should be hearing Rod Serling telling me I've logged into the Twilight Zone!!!
