Our friends, Lert and Lona, treated us to a Chinese dinner and surprised us with a "wedding" cake for our 50th anniversary. I had told Lona the story of our marriage day and that it didn't include any of the usual activities such as a cake. She decided we needed one tonight! What a sweet gesture. We enjoyed the evening very much.
We went to the Safeway pharmacy this morning and Rog got started on his meds. His face is hurting, but he should now be on the road to recovery.
Otherwise it was just a quiet day being at home. We had a hawk sighting but it was after a dove and not Maggie this time.
Happy Anniversary! What a milestone, you two are the best role models. Glad you enjoyed the wedding cake, that was very sweet of your friends. Glad dads on the mend.
